A counselor will conduct an assessment and direct the member to the appropriate professional who can help with each unique situation. Often, this means being referred to a financial counselor or specialist who can assist in creating a debt consolidation program. In addition, employees may also need family support counseling and other related services.

The Premium Dependent Care service provides access to a dependent care specialist, who works one-on-one with the member to assess specific child or elder care needs. The specialist conducts a search for local providers and delivers a comprehensive report of available options, guiding and counseling the member throughout the selection process to ensure that the best choice is made.

Adoption counseling includes consultation with an experienced adoption counselor, a MSW Social Worker, who assists the employee through the various stages and types of adoptions.
